Financial adviser makes Hall of Fame

The owner of Fries Financial Services in Bryan was selected for Research Magazine's 2011 Advisor Hall of Fame, published in its December edition.
Denise Fries is one of five advisers chosen from about 150 applicants for the magazine's 21st annual recognition of leaders in the financial services industry who demonstrate superior client service and community involvement, according to Securities America. Applicants must have been in the industry at least 15 years to be eligible.
Fries began her financial planning career while serving in the U.S. Army Reserve in 1984 and, 27 years later, she has the largest retirement assets under management in the Texas A&M University System for professors, faculty and staff.
Fries is a top producer at independent broker-dealer Securities America, according to the organization, and also owns Taylor Made Gluten Free Bakery and a property management company. She also devotes two days a week to charities and helps local non-profits with her management and organizational skills.
Fries has been honored as a top producer with Securities America annually since joining in August 2008, and has been a member of the Million Round Dollar Table, an international independent association of more than 36,000 life insurance and financial services professionals.
