Eagle Staff Report

A 37-year-old Bryan man was in the Brazos County Jail on Sunday after being accused of using account information from the Brazos Valley Pastors and Ministers Fellowship to pay his bills.

Michael Bernard Browder was paid once by the organization for a musical performance, and police believe he used that check to obtain the account and routing numbers.

According to an arrest report, Browder admitted in a police interview that he used the account information to pay several thousand dollars worth of personal bills, including to Suddenlink, T-Mobile and Entergy, in 2010.

He was arrested Saturday on four theft charges, two of which were felonies.

His bail was set at $18,562.
