Navasota man jailed on four drug charges

A man seen wandering the parking lot of Landmark Apartments in College Station attempting to open car doors was arrested Wednesday morning on four drug charges, police said.


Anthony Troy Harris Jr., 22, of Navasota was cooperative when officers spoke to him Tuesday night, according to a police report. He even handed them a bag of marijuana containing 2.3 grams when they began questioning him.


Witnesses told police Harris had gotten in and out of a vehicle a few times, and a search of a it uncovered 65.6 grams of PCP in a Listerine bottle, 4.3 grams of crack cocaine and 1 gram of cocaine.


Harris admitted to police the drugs belonged to him, according to the report.


He remained in the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday night in lieu of $58,000 bail.
