A tuition hearing has been set for 3 p.m. on Feb. 15 in Room 601 of Rudder Tower. The public is invited to attend.

Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin will discuss plans for designated tuition for the 2012-13 academic year.

The A&M System's Board of Regents last year held designated tuition flat for all 11 System schools, despite appeals to raise tuition as one way to partially backfill money lost to state reductions.

In-state Texas A&M students pay nearly $5,300 a year in tuition. Out-of-state students pay more than $20,000.
