Texas A&M reports record spring enrollment
Eagle Staff Report
Enrollment at Texas A&M University has hit a record high for the spring semester, with a total of 46,717 students on the roster as of the 12th day of classes.
That is an increase of 295 students from the number enrolled for the spring 2011 semester, according to university officials.
Officials also said that there are typically fewer students enrolled for the spring semester because of the large numbers of students who graduate in December.
Texas A&M's Galveston and Qatar campuses have also reported record numbers of enrolled students for the spring, with totals of 1,882 and 524 students respectively.
