* Faith United Church (UUC), 2901 Austin's Colony Parkway in Bryan, will hold fellowship at 10 a.m. and worship at 10:30 p.m. The Rev. * St. Francis Episcopal Church, 1101 Rock Prairie Road in College Station, will hold a 10:30 a.m. worship service hold its monthly Vestry meeting for the church administrative group at 8 a.m. before the 10:30 worship service. Following the church service, the church Book Group will discuss the book Duty by Bob Greene.


* Wesley United Methodist Church, 4201 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan, will hold worship services at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Sam Cutrone Jr. will preach a sermon titled "You've Changed Something" Sunday School for all ages will follow at 10:30 a.m.


* Friends Congregational Church (UCC), 2200 Southwood Drive in College Station, will celebrate worship at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Dan De Leon will be preaching and Tom Vogel will perform Mark Hayes' arrangement of "There is a Balm in Gilead." There will also be a humorous dramatization to recognize "Fat Sunday," a pre-Lenten observance. An adult Sunday school, children's Sunday school and the parent group will meet at 9 a.m. A sermon activity will be offered in the Children's Area during worship. Child care is available for infants and toddlers through age 4 from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m.

* St. Francis Episcopal Church, 1101 Rock Prairie Road in College Station, will celebrate Shrove Tuesday with a Pancake and Waffle Supper at 5:30 p.m. in the church building.


* St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 906 George Bush Drive in College Station, will host a Mardi Gras pancake supper from 5 to 7 p.m. There will also be a professional jazz band, games, and a bounce house. Cost is $5 per person and $20 family maximum.

* St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2700 West Villa Maria Road in Bryan, will hold an Ash Wednesday Service starting at 6 p.m. Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. for both the 20/30 group studying "Love Wins" by Rob Bell at the church, and the college group, who meet at Rudder Tower on Texas A&M's campus.
