Rainbow trout in Texas?? Are you kidding me? Nope. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department stocks rainbow trout throughout Texas and have for years now! Starting late in November several small community lakes will begin to receive hundreds if not thousands of the tasty trout to be caught and kept by the angling public. Stocking locations and dates.
The little pond at Central Park in College Station received it's first truck of 200+ fish November 27th and will continue to be restocked with 200+ trout every other week until March 7th.
- Statewide Regulations:
