Annually, Sonshine Station Christian Learning Center in Bryan has a weeklong unit on America where the children learn about America and participate in different patriotic themed art projects.

The day before the Fourth of July, the children march in parade around the center.

They also decorate shirts to wear and make different items to shake and hold during the parade, then conclude with a few songs and the Pledge of Allegiance for parents and guests.

This is a great time to teach our young children about America and spread joy to the community.
