Impact Awards picks deadline is July 27

The nomination deadline for the Community Impact Awards is July 27.

The program recognizes Hispanic, African-American, Asian, American-Indian and women business owners who have demonstrated a significant impact on the community.

To be eligible, businesses must be a member of the Chamber of Commerce, must meet Historically Underutilized Business certification requirements of at least 51 percent minority ownership and must have been in business for a minimum of five years.

Nomination forms are available at www.bcschamber.org for the event presented by the Bryan-College Station/CS Chamber of Commerce and the Texas A&M University HUB program.

Winners will be announced at a luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to

1 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Briarcrest Country Club. Tickets are $20.
