Earth Art shop ringing in 18 years

Downtown Bryan business Earth Art will host an 18th birthday party for itself on Nov. 14.

Georgette Stephens, who works at the gift shop that has jewelry, art and clothing, said 10 percent of the day's proceeds will go toward Scotty's House, a nonprofit agency that helps abused children. A free drawing will be held to win opening-day tickets to Sherwood Forest Faire.

The store is at 209 S. Main St.
