RIG WATCH

Brazos County

The Apache Corp. of Houston has filed for a permit to horizontally drill the No. 2H Hullabaloo in the Giddings (Eagleford) field. The well will be 6.5 miles southwest of College Station in the John H. Jones Survey A-26.

Robertson County

Burlington Resources of Houston has filed for permits to drill two 16,000-foot wells in the Savell (Bossier Sand) field. The No. 3 T Bar X Carleton Gas Unit and the No. 3 T Bar X Reagan Gas Unit will be 3.6 miles southeast of Franklin, the former in the S.H. Eaton Survey A-10 and the latter in the A.O. Barbee Survey A-65.

Coronado Energy E&P of Houston has filed for a permit to drill the No. 12 John Blair in the Bald Prairie (CV Consolidated) field. With a proposed depth of 13,500 feet, the well will be 11.7 miles northeast of Franklin in the W. Jones Survey A-200.

Red Willow Production of Houston has filed for a permit to directionally drill the No. 2 Emil Gas Unit to 18,200 feet in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) field. The well will be 5.4 miles northeast of the Marquez Quad in the M. De La Concepcion Marquez Survey A-25.

Washington County

Crawford Energy Operating of Houston has filed for a permit to drill the No. 4 Schulte Unit in the Clay, NE (Austin Chalk, Gas) field. The well will be 2.2 miles northwest of Independence in the E. Clampit Survey A-26.
