Saturday

* St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2700 W. Villa Maria Road in Bryan, will host a Splash Party and Day of Jubilee from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include free food, music, games and water activities for children. Wear swimsuits and bring towels.

* Gregory Cooks will release his newest CD, Reverse the Curse, during a CD signing and gospel concert Saturday. The CD signing will take place at the VIP Music Store, 900 N. Texas Ave. in Bryan, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at SOS Christian Center on Groesbeck Street in Bryan. Featured guests include BSloan, Sherica Cooks and King Christ Movement. Sunday

* First United Methodist Church, 506 E. 28th St. in Bryan, will hold Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The Rev. Matt Idom will begin a monthlong series called "Our Mission is Fishin'." The sermon is based on Matthew 28:16-20 and will feature sacred harp music. Sunday school classes will meet at 9:45 a.m. Hispanic ministry Sunday school is at 10 a.m., and worship is at 11:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Child care is provided. * St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 2700 W. Villa Maria Road in Bryan, will worship at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Jason Burnham will preach on "Water from Rock," based on Exodus 17:1-7. The adult Sunday school class will meet at 9:15 a.m. Nursery care for children through age 4 is provided from 10:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Parent Bible study group and children's Sunday school will resume in the fall. Children of all ages are welcome in worship, and a sermon activity time is available through the summer for children who wish to participate. * The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Brazos Valley, 305 Wellborn Road in College Station, holds regular worship services at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Posa as minister. Religious education classes for adults and children will resume in September. For more information, visit brazosuu.org.

* First Christian Church, 900 S. Ennis St. in Bryan, will worship at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Jesse Myers will preach on "Don't Worry? Be Happy," based on Luke 12:13-21 and Psalm 107:1-9. * Faith United Church, UCC, 2901 Austin's Colony Parkway in Bryan, welcomes the Rev. Bill Armstrong at its new worship center next to Rudder High School. Fellowship begins at 10 a.m., worship begins at 10:30 a.m. The message is "A Crazy Heart." All guests are welcome.
