The youth group from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rockdale will be hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Charlie Martin Park in Milano. The entry fee is $10 per team member with up to four on a team. Registration starts at 11 a.m. in Charlie Martin Park. Contact Fawn Simpson for more details at 446-2973. Concessions will be available.

Sunday

* Christ United Methodist Church, 4201 Texas 6 South in College Station, will host services Sunday at 8:15, 9:30 and 11 a.m. in which the Rev. Jerry House Jr. will begin a new sermon series titled "Wholehearted Devotion." Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. Child care is available at all three services and Sunday school. Vacation Bible school will be held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Four-year-olds through fifth-graders are invited. There is no charge. * First United Methodist Church, 506 E. 28th St. in Bryan, will hold traditional worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. with the Rev. Matt Idom preaching on 1 John 3:1-3. Sunday school classes meet at 9:45 a.m. The Loves Unlimited Youth Choir from Augusta, Ga., will perform following a churchwide potluck dinner at 6 p.m. in the CLC Gym. All are welcome to attend. Creative Arts Camp starts Monday at 1 p.m. for children who have completed first through sixth grades. Visit www.fumcbryan.org to register.

* Faith United Church, UCC welcomes guest preacher the Rev. Liz Nash at the Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive in Bryan. Fellowship begins at 10 a.m. with worship at 10:30. Guests are welcome.

* St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 4806 E. Texas 21 in Bryan, will celebrate its Annual Women's Day at 4 p.m. The theme for the service is "Greater Rain." Missionary Verdine Daniels is the theme speaker. The main speaker will be Kimmie Daily, pastor of Christ Holy Church in College Station.

* St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 217 W. 26th St. in Bryan, will hold worship services at 7:30, 9 and 11:15 a.m., with coffee and refreshments in the Parish Hall. The summer education series begins at 10:15 a.m. All ages are welcome. For more information, visit www.standrewsbcs.org.

* Evangelical United Church of Christ, 320 Silver Maple in Lyons, will celebrate its annual homecoming with a reception and tour beginning at 9 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., entertainment will be provided and live and silent auctions will be held. The church will dedicate its new sanctuary at 3 p.m. followed by a reception with barbecue plates for $8 each.

* Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1001 Woodcreek Drive in College Station, hosts its River of Life worship service Sundays at 9:30 a.m. The service encourages casual dress and offers Christian contemporary praise music. The church is offering three weeks of summer camp for 5-year-olds through sixth-graders, beginning June 29. The cost is $80 per week before June 22, $85 after. * Parkway Baptist Church, 1501 Southwest Parkway in College Station, will host vacation Bible school for Pre-K through sixth-graders Sunday through Thursday from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. To register, call 693-4701.

June 28

* Christ Holy Missionary Baptist Church, 1119 Arizona St. in Bryan, will host a homecoming celebration and church anniversary at 3 p.m. Pastor A.C. Clark III and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will be the guests.
