Garden Calendar for March 21

Friday: Registration deadline for Herbal Forum at Round Top, "A Celebration of Edible Flowers and Calendula, Herb of the Year, 2008." Forum-related events March 28-29 will be at The International Festival-Institute. Seminars March 28 are $25 and up; $75 for all events March 29 (includes lunch). Tuesday: Carlos Bogran of Texas A&M University will discuss plant diseases. 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Navasota Fair Grounds Go Texas Building. Meeting of the 2008 Grimes County Master Gardener class. $10 fee payable at door. Details: 979-921-0538.

Tuesday: Meteorologist Bob French discusses weather's impact on gardening. 7 p.m. at Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive in Bryan. Meeting of the Brazos County Master Gardeners Association. Free.

March 29: Texas A&M's Annual Plant Fair and Sale. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., east side of Horticulture/Forest Science Building on the West Campus. Proceeds benefit Horticulture Club, Holistic Garden and Bayse Rose Breeding Program. Details: http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/hortclub/plantfair.
