Garden Calendar for March 28


Friday-Saturday: 13th Annual Herbal Forum at Festival Hill in Round Top. Sales of plants and herbal-themed gifts. Details: 979-249-3129 and www.festivalhiill.org.

Saturday: Texas A&M University's Annual Plant Fair and Sale. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. East side of Horticulture/Forest Science Building on the West Campus. Summer annuals, warm-season vegetable plants, fruit trees, heirloom roses, Texas Superstars, vines, succulents, houseplants and specialty items such as fern terrariums. Free parking in Lot 74. Proceeds benefit Horticulture Club, Holistic Garden and Bayse Rose Breeding Program. Details: http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/hortclub/plantfair.

Tuesday: Robert and Sandra Stuckey will discuss rainwater harvesting. 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; location to be announced. Meeting of Grimes County Master Gardener class. $10 fee payable at door. Details: 979-921-0538.
