* The Brazos County Master Gardener Association is registering participants for its 2009 Summer/Fall Earth Kind Gardening 101 series. All classes will be held at the Bryan Public Library at 201 E. 26th St. in Bryan from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes are: July 16 -- Earth Kind Fall Vegetable Gardening; Aug. 20 -- Earth Kind Composting & Rainwater Harvesting; and Oct. 15 -- Earth Kind Home Fruit Production. Register for all three sessions for $20 by July 10 or pay $10 per class. (Registration is requested one week before class.) Participants will receive educational resource materials from Extension's Earth Kind Environmental Stewardship Program at each session.
