Garden Calendar for July 4

Saturday: Brazos Valley Farmers Market will offer home-grown vegetables,* ornamental and landscaping plants, herbs, honey, eggs and flowers. 8 a.m. to noon. Corner of Texas Avenue and William J. Bryan Parkway, Bryan. Accepting WIC vouchers. Details: 775-9500.

Tuesday: Meeting of the Brazos Valley Orchid Society. 7 p.m. College Station Conference Center, 1300 George Bush Drive. Use rear entrance. Free. 846-3496.

Wednesday: Brazos Valley Farmers Market.* 4 to 7 p.m. WIC vouchers. Main pavilion, College Station Central Park. 775-9500.

*Current produce includes tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, onions, lettuce, spinach, radishes, red potatoes, kale, cabbage, berries, peppers, greens, turnips and green beans. To join, call 870-4099 or 775-9500.
