Eagle staff report
MSC OPAS has announced these changes to its 2008-09 schedule:
• Capitol Steps, comedic entertainers who satirize the nation's lawmakers, have added a 9:30 p.m. performance on Oct. 20. Both performances will be offered at Rudder Theatre on the campus of Texas A&M University. The show first scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20, a sellout, will now begin at 7 p.m.; patrons who booked for 7:30 will receive tickets for the 7 p.m. performance.
• Rockapella has added a second holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1. The vocalists were originally scheduled for only one performance, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Both concerts will be in Rudder Auditorium at A&M.
• The Wizard of Oz will be performed at 7:30 p.m. April 20 because the company's tour was rerouted. If patrons bought tickets for previously scheduled performances (April 1-2) and cannot make the new date, full refunds are available. The performance will be in Rudder Auditorium.
For further information or to change or order tickets, contact the Memorial Student Center box office on campus (845-1234).
Museum celebration
The Brazos Valley African American Museum, 500 Pruitt St. in Bryan, invites the public to its second anniversary celebration from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Corn quest
During the "Aww Shucks" event Sunday at Barrington Living History Farm in Washington, guests can learn how corn was used in 19th-century Texas. Activities will include picking, shucking, shelling and grinding corn as well as making corn-husk dolls.
The event will start at 10 a.m. and wrap up at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students. Children younger than 6 and state park pass holders get in free. Discounted tour tickets for Independence Hall and the Star of the Republic Museum are available.
