An 18-year-old woman died Friday night in Leon County when she lost control of her car and it rolled several times, according to police reports.

Mandi Nicole Oberlender of Oakwood was northbound on FM 542 at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her car and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll, according to officials. Oberlender died at the scene.

Passenger Paul Powers IV was in serious condition at East Chase Medical Center in Tyler, according to officials. The second passenger, Kylie Nicole Powers, was not injured. All three were wearing their safety belts.
