MARK YOUR CALENDAR

The 90th annual All-Aggie reunion rodeo is set for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Burleson County covered arena in Caldwell on Texas 36. More than 200 former and current Aggie students will compete in events that include calf roping, steer wrestling, bareback and saddle-bronc riding, bullriding, barrel racing, team roping and goat tying. A calf scramble was organized for kids 10 and under. All proceeds go to the Texas A&M Rodeo Team. Admission is $6 or $5 with an Aggie Ring or student ID. 845-7023 or 254-396-1886.

First Yell, Reed Arena, 8 p.m. The traditional kickoff for the school year includes performances by Bill Cosby, the Singing Cadets, the Aggie Wranglers, Percussion Studio and Fade to Black, followed by midnight yell practice. Joshua Bain is performing at Hullabaloo.

Johnny Cooper will be at the Texas Hall of Fame. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

Karan Chavis with Dexter Walker will entertain guests at Christopher's World Grille beginning at 7:30 p.m. No cover.

Point of Contact, 8 p.m. at Stafford Main Street. $5 cover.

Kelsey Taylor with Greg Tivis and Steve Carr, 9 p.m. at Veritas. No cover.

Texas Twisters will be at Zapatos Cantina. Performance begins at 9:30 p.m. No cover.

FUNDRAISERS

Spaghetti dinner, 4:30 to 7 p.m., Bryan High School Silver Campus cafeteria. Tickets $6. Drive-thru service available. Proceeds to benefit the Bryan High School Viking Band.
