2nd escort service arrest made

For the second time in a week, a woman has been arrested in College Station on a charge of operating a sexually oriented business without a license.

As in last week's arrest, police said, officers responded to an Internet listing for escort services and arranged a meeting.

When they met Wednesday, the officer asked to see Krucinda Khan's permit to operate a sexually oriented business. She was arrested when she admitted to officers that she didn't have a permit, College Station officials said.

The 26-year-old Bryan woman was also charged with possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Not having a sexually oriented business license is a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year behind bars and a $4,000 fine.

Khan was released from the Brazos County Jail on Thursday after posting $6,000 bail.

Last week, police charged Irma Linda Watson, 33, of Iola, with operating a sexually oriented business without a permit after responding to a similar Internet ad for escort services.

Watson was released from jail last week on $5,000 bail.

Officer Rhonda Seaton, a spokeswoman for the College Station Police Department, said there were no indications that the women were connected.

"They aren't from the same business," Seaton said. "They just found both listings on craigslist."

Seaton said the department anticipates more arrests from similar activity, thanks to the popularity of the Internet.

"In the past few years, the Internet has just taken off," she said. "This opened up an avenue to us to catch these people that wasn't available to us in the past."

Send the hooker back into Bryan. This is a acceptable activity in Bryan. No need to ask them over in CS even if she is a high end export. We still do not have all the Bryan Burglars and Goons rounded up in CS.

I think cs should take a new look at its priorities. Burglars are operating at will with no chance of getting caught.

Would that stock be down 41 cents today, or is the current price 41 cents? Do you think these attacks have affected the price of the stock? Have you any other sites we can read that reports on the Brazos Valley Area, besides KRHD?

Only a Bryan and BISD product would feel he had all the news from a failed newspaper and a failed KBTX who's stock is down around .41 cents on the NYSE. Also both have been attacked or threatened by a Bryan goon in the last year and appear to be scared to report on Bryan.

Comment Title: Sorry bs for police work
I have lost any respect I might have had for CSPD. First, you can not prove the case and if so the only offense is lack of a license. This is garbage and CSPD is no better than BPD and we know how bad there operation is. Get off the internet and get on the streets to protect us. These women may not have ever come to CS if you had not called.
