The statue of a cyclist, known locally as Yellow Bike Man, stands outside Mud Creek Pottery on Main Street in Calvert on Tuesday afternoon. The statue was originally painted white by Austin artist Paula Cloud, who created it. But Mud Creek Pottery owner Sonny Moss painted it yellow when Lance Armstrong won his first Tour de France. ÒAggies and their friends are always stopping to have their picture made with it,Ó Moss said.
