Agency to collect hazardous waste

Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency's hazardous waste collection drive will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 26 at the Texas A&M University Services Complex on Texas 30 East in front of the old Texas Instruments building.

The entrance is just past Veterans Park.

Paint, cleaning fluids, batteries and pesticides are among common household items being collected. For a list of household hazardous waste, go to www.cstx.gov/home/index.asp?page=2049.
