Comment Title:
The statement "There's no reason she should have died" infers there is a proven vaccine available. According to the CDC, there is no proven vaccine. Moskowitz must be referring to clinical trials his company has been running for the last six years. Good luck to him and apparently one of his trial participants, D. Manry.

Comment Title: Promising WNV Rx Since 2003
There's no reason she should have died, with a treatment available for the past 6 summers. Anybody can download it for free from www.genomed.com. Ask D. Manry (see comment below)--he's on it, although he started 3 weeks late.

Comment Title: Symptoms/Treatment
Please see following link from CDC (Center for desease Control) Locally the most experienced persons for West nile are Dr. Ricardo Lemos, Infectious Disease control specialist and Dr Greg LeBleau, director of in-patient re-hab, St.Josephs hospital. The single most importnat factor to recovery is immediate diagnosis and treatment. The longer it goes untreated/ the less likelihood of a full recovery if any recovery. If you think you have the symptoms GO TO THE DR. NOW! Ask them to test for it!http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvbid/westnile/qa/symptoms.htm

Vote for Obama. Then you will be like the people in Canada with socialized medicine. You can wait around for weeks until you die, then you will know.

Comment Title: Bring back DDT
Not for agricultural use, but for mosquito control. Literally millions of people die each year because of the ban. http://microbiologybytes.wordpress.com/2007/10/08/tough-choices-ddt-or-malaria/
