Bush to visit during Berlin Wall event

The public is invited to an event Monday at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum that celebrates the Berlin Wall coming down 20 years ago.

Combined choirs from Rudder, Bryan and A&M Consolidated high schools, along with the Texas Aggie Band, will perform at the free event that kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in the plaza where a statue commemorating the fall of the wall was installed more than a decade ago.

Former President George H.W. Bush and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be on hand at the ceremony, which also will be attended by a representative from the Federal Republic of Germany.
