The Texas A&M University Holistic Garden is holding an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will be tours of the holistic teaching garden and the new community garden and demonstrations of key garden techniques such as plant propagation and composting. Interactive features for the children include story telling, plant projects and tours of the rainforest, discovery trail and other garden areas. The event is free.
