KTEX 106.1 is hosting Country Palooza 2009 on Jan. 24. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the music starts at 8. Six bands will perform on two stages at Silver Wings Ballroom in Brenham: Sonny Burgess, Granger Smith, Rodney Parker and the Fifty Peso Reward, Maren Morris, Kimberly Kelly and Shawn Jennings and the Southern Roots Band.
