Last year, Bryan-College Station residents donated 677 coats, 200 blankets and 140 scarves and gloves to be distributed to those in need.
Ron Crozier, Twin City Mission's director of community relations, said this year's Coat and Blanket Collection and Give-Away might provide warmth for even more community members.
Those in need of a coat or blanket can get one by stopping by 700 N. Main St. in downtown Bryan on Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Adults and children of all sizes should be able to find a coat that fits, Crozier said, thanks to the large number of donations received.
Anyone still wishing to make a donation can also do so at the giveaway site.
