Concert to benefit fire department

A concert is scheduled Thursday in Somerville to benefit the volunteer fire department.

The Kingsmen will play at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 517 8th St.

Band members include Ray Dean Reese on bass; Harold Reed, tenor; Cody McVey, piano; Bryan Hutson, baritone; Brandon Reese on drums; and Phillip Hughes, lead singer.

Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those 12 and younger. Tickets are available from any member of the Somerville Ladies Auxiliary of the volunteer fire department, which is sponsoring the event.

The funds help pay for equipment for firefighters.
