Cuddly critters donated to law enforcement

Ann Anderson, vice president of programs for the Republican Women of Brazos Valley, arranges a stack of 50 stuffed animals the organization donated to local law enforcement during a ceremony Thursday at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant in College Station. College Station police Assistant Chief Scott McCullum (left) and Brazos County Sherriff Chris Kirk (second from left) received the toys, which will be used to comfort children encountered on patrol, on behalf of their departments. The ceremony was held just prior to a fundraiser for Scotty's House held at the local eatery.
