The Scott & White Clinic in College Station will hold a blood drive next week to benefit victims of the Fort Hood shooting.
Lindsey Joy, a hospital spokeswoman, said Scott & White Hospital in Temple, where gunshot victims were taken after the shooting, would be in need of all blood types over the next couple of weeks.
Residents can donate blood from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Sbisa Dining Hall on the Texas A&M University campus.
Donors will be offered food, cups, coupons and a T-shirt.
The Heart of Texas Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is also asking for blood donations.
Those interested in donating to the Red Cross can do so from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday or from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at 4301A Texas Ave. in Bryan.
