Events to aid woman with breast cancer

Several events will be taking place at Shooters in Bryan on Saturday in an effort to raise money for Sally Ann Reyes-Garza, a local woman who recently was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Beginning at noon at the business on Tabor Road, barbecue plates will be available for $7 and a silent auction will begin.

A horseshoe tournament is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., and at 7 p.m. a drawing will take place for raffle prizes, followed by a pool tournament.

A live DJ will be on hand from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.
