Pct. 4 volunteer firefighter Derek Zivney looks over the remains of a glass truck that hit a guardrail before landing on its top at a bridge on Texas 21 near Smetana Road during heavy rains Tuesday morning. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle at the time of the accident, fell asleep at the wheel, DPS trooper Matt Sliva said. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan and treated for minor injuries.
