Photo: Grass fire burns 50 acres

Capt. Kenneth Utz of the South Brazos County Fire Department and Jeff Gore of the Precinct 3 Volunteer Fire Department tend to hot spots while fighting a grass fire along Highway 21 west of Bryan on Friday afternoon. The 50-acre fire off of Knife River Road, mostly on Sanderson Farms property, was contained in about two hours, officials said. Bryan firefighters also battled the blaze.
