Health event hopes to draw big crowds

Organizers of a free health awareness screening said they hope to see 100 people or more participate in the second annual event on Saturday.

Health professionals from the fields of vision, dental, audiology and chiropractic medicine will be on hand to conduct examinations and offer health-related information from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Bryan Community Center, at 705 N. Houston St.

Last year, about 50 residents participated.
