Lanes, speed reduced on Campbells Creek Bridge

The Texas Department of Transportation has reduced the northbound lanes from two to one to continue work on the widening of the Campbells Creek Bridge on Texas 6 just north of OSR in Robertson County.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 mph in the contruction area, TxDOT spokesman Bob Colwell said. Officials expect the lane and speed reductions to last about two months.

The work is part of the $2.5 million Campbells Creek Bridge widening project, which is expected to be complete by next summer.
