Lanes of Boonville Road closed

One lane in each direction of Boonville Road is closed near Austin's Colony Parkway in Bryan, as well as the right-turn lane on Austin's Colony Parkway approaching Boonville Road.

The Texas Department of Transportation on Thursday began making pavement repairs to that area of Boonville Road, said Dale Picha, the city's director of traffic and transportation.

Next week TxDOT will shift the lane closures to the other lanes on Boonville Road.

The work will take about two weeks to complete, during which time lane closures will be needed, day and night, Picha said.

The most significant impact to traffic will be during mornings from 7:30 to 8 in the westbound direction on Boonville, he said.
