Leon County man dies in bike crash

A Leon County man died over the weekend when the motorcycle he was driving crashed into a fence.

Cecil Alan Sanders Jr., 20, of Buffalo, was driving a motorcycle southeast on F.M. 39 about a mile north of Jewett when the accident occurred around 6 p.m. Saturday.

Sanders' motorcycle veered off the right side of the road and struck a fence, ejecting him from the bike, according to Department of Public Safety troopers.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was wearing a helmet, officials said.
