Local museum is changing its hours

New hours for the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The change, which starts Saturday, allows for more flexibility in scheduling of after-hours events and programs, said Deborah Cowman, the museum's executive director.

"The Museum's commitment to education remains a high priority, and we will continue to provide the many docent-led school tours and special educational programs for smaller student groups five days a week," she said in a news release.
