A 33-year-old College Station man was arrested Saturday after threatening to kill three people and himself with a knife, authorities said.
Nicholas Tax was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony punishable by two to 20 years in prison.
College Station police said they responded to the 300 block of Cooner Street around 2 a.m. Saturday after a report of a man with a knife "who was out of control."
Tax had become enraged after returning home from a bar, officers said.
For no apparent reason, police said, he retrieved a butcher knife and threatened to kill his roommates and himself.
Police said the group attempted to get Tax to calm down, but two people suffered minor cuts. They declined medical treatment, officials said.
Tax was being held in the Brazos County Jail on Saturday without bail.

The CS and TAMU basher also crossed the Delaware with Gen. Washington. Later he reported he help frame the words for the US Constitution. All from the ghettos and slums of Bryan.

"Since there was no news to "bash" today (Monday) - they had to revert back to Sunday to spread their "hate"!" - What did they say? I only see a response to the persons asking about their whereabouts.

Come on! These bashers aren't serious! People that exhibit this much hate can only do one thing... distribute more hate! So sad our "Sister Cities" have to endure a repetition set by so few! But every "barrel has bad apples"! Since there was no news to "bash" today (Monday) - they had to revert back to Sunday to spread their "hate"! SO VERY SAD!!!

The College Station A&M basher should be ashamed of himself for making the citizens of Bryan look like drug users. He must be a 26% BISD student. That or he stole a computer out of someones car in College Station. The basher is in no way a representation of the city of Bryan. He is just out to get the citizens in Bryan for some reason, by making people think he is a representation of these citizens.

Whoo Hooo! (hug them, embrace them) I actually think they are serious (at least I hope so)! You can't save the world, only a few children at a time! AND believe me (I know) touching or changing the life of just a few persons and/or children is the most "rewarding" experience you will "ever" encounter!!!!!!!!!! And you can't save a whole town, BUT YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! And I'll quit being annoying, IF people will CONTINUE bashing the area (B/CS, TAMU, etc.) I was raised!

I'm reluctant to say you must not be the sharpest knife in the drawer because I did neglect to use the name Basher. However, Basher mentioned HALO's and Kevin Harris. He says -. . . you not only bash towns, but now you have lower yourself to bashing people by name and even naming businesses! Surely there must be a connection between those posts and the third anonymous post. And surely you must see a connection for mentioning Bryan, College Station, and TAMU degrees.

MY GOODNESS! Nobody ask for your history of education! The comment was referring to the posting by "Brasher". Who made you angry today? If you don't want to read the comments - read another paper! Goodness gracious - unwad whatever got tangled and angered you! Geez! Smile! Nobody was even talking about you. Oh, and I love you too (blushing)!
Posted by: On: 10/26/2008
Comment Title:
It would appear from reading the comments - if you don't bash B/CS, nor others - then that person is not referring to you. Unless I've messed something, they are talking about the constant bashing of our towns (it doesn't take "degrees" to figure that out). Personally, I have noticed a decline in the town bashing lately and have to admit - I have laughed a little! Even a person with 2 degrees from A&M has to see some humor! Don't be so touchy!

Let me tell you something sonny. I have not disparaged either Bryan or College Station. I was born in Bryan, lived in College Station, and have two degrees from A&M. I currently live in Bryan. I hate no one, absolutely no one. Kevin Harris is a past agitator here who claimed to be from Bryan. In reality, he may very well be NBA or Jamie. Doesn't matter. I do not pass judgement on businesses, I let you do that. Hooray for HALO's. I have been to many of those types of establishments in Houston during the twenty eight years I lived there. I have seen some fantastic shows put on by female impersonators. I'd go visit HALO's if I wouldn't have to drive at night. Read the second post dated 10/26/08 under the article "Police dog aids in Bryan drug arrest", that's me. I don't hate you either. You are just annoying with your constant where is Jamie and NBA crap.

AMEN to Beck St. resident!!! But you have to admit, since the below poster has been posting - Jamie@CS, NBA, NBC are not posting their alias as much! Just maybe if enough "take a stand" against these Bryan bashers, it will stop! I'm not a lifetime resident of Bryan, but was raised there (and didn't turnout too bad)for over 25 years. Have only recently returned because a son moved to CS, but I do have relatives/friends that are lifetime residents of BOTH towns - so I do get a little defensive when people (like the bashers) start bashing an area I've always considered "home" - that includes B/CS, TAMU, and surrounding areas! Instead of bashing your "home towns", become a Neighborhood Watch - do something to help the area and local police! They are only "human" and yes, not "mistake proof"! Put your money where your mouth is - start afternoon/evening programs to educate the local youth and keep them off the streets! We all know most households have parents/parent that HAVE to work to survive and sadly can't provide the supervisor required for their children. Help your working neighbors by providing a place for these young people!!!! NOW BASHERS - instead of entertaining the newspaper readers - entertain our local youth!!!!

Hey, Bryan bashers - what are you going to do today? No crime news from Bryan! Darn, no entertainment from the "uneducated Bryan bashers"! I'm sure you're having problems reading this article... this knife yielding drunk is from "College Station"!! LOL - bet that changes your love to quote stats & %'s of crime. The "Sister Cities" - love them or LEAVE THEM!!!! Find an island in the Pacific!!! Your hate and bashing of Bryan is getting old!!!!!

Totally agree with below post! Hum... wonder how Jamie@CS, NBC, NBA, & the other Bryan bashers responded to someone being arrested from CS! Whoa - someone in CS created a crime; unbelieveable!!!! Well, guys I guess more (as you like to quote) stats that CS is not any better than any other city/town! Wow, bet that bursts your bubbles!!!

Comment Title: Apparent Reason
No apparent reason? The man became enraged after returning home from a bar at 2:00 a.m. I would feel very safe betting he was not drinking water until the bar closed. Apparently he was drunk and out of control. Just another idiot who should not be drinking.
