A Buckholts man died and two other people were injured in a three-vehicle accident in Milam County on Tuesday.
Kevin Whitney Simmons, 44, was ejected from his vehicle after it was struck by a vehicle that entered his lane on U.S. 190 about three miles west of Cameron, according to the Department of Public Safety accident report.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.
According to the DPS, Jesse and Bernice Wooley of Huntsville were driving east on U.S. 190 behind Thomas Lee Ralston of Rogers.
The Wooleys' vehicle spun into the westbound lane after hitting Ralston's vehicle, which was slowing for a left-hand turn, the DPS report said.
Bernice Wooley, 79, suffered a broken leg, and Jesse Wooley, 75, was taken to a Scott & White Hospital in Temple with unknown injuries.
