Two Navasota residents were arrested Saturday morning after police reportedly found illegal drugs, a gun and drug paraphernalia in their car.
Brian Jefferson, 26, and Marckeith Steptoe, 22, were arrested early Saturday in a College Station parking lot after officers noticed a large quantity of cocaine in the vehicle, authorities said.
According to reports, police found 166.5 grams of cocaine, 164.4 grams of marijuana, Xanax, Ecstasy, a 9 mm handgun, $1,456 and drug paraphernalia.
Both men were charged with possession of a controlled substance, which is punishable by up to 99 years in jail and a $100,000 fine.
