Pageant applications due by Feb. 15

The search for Miss Brazos County is on.

All unmarried Brazos County women between 19 and 29 years old are invited to apply for the 2009 title, pageant organizers said.

Miss Brazos County International will represent the county in the Texas International Pageant March 20 to 22 in San Antonio.

Women who live, work or attend school in Brazos County and have never been married or given birth can request an application form by writing to Miss Texas International Pageant, 14427 Brookhollow, Suite 197, San Antonio, Texas 78232.

All applications must be submitted by Feb. 15.

The state winner will receive a prize package worth more than $15,000 and the chance to represent Texas in the 2009 Miss International Pageant in Chicago.

The 2008 winner was College Station resident Megan Clark.
