Kelsi Henderson, an intern at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History, walks past a fossil of a mosasaur at the museum Saturday. The mosasaur, which lived during the Cretaceous Period from 144 million to 65 million years ago, is considered the T. Rex of the sea. It was the largest of the prehistoric “sea lizards,” growing to almost 60 feet. The fossil and others at the museum are part of the Frithiof Fossil Collection and will be featured on the History Channel’s Jurassic Fight Club, which premieresTuesday. The fossils can be viewed at the museum from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
