Police: Credit card used in gas scam
A 35-year-old Bryan woman has been charged with credit card abuse after using a stolen card to buy more than $7,500 worth of gas, authorities said.
Bryan police said Connie Galindo was charging people $30 to fill up their vehicles with the stolen credit card.
It was unclear Wednesday whether she had stolen the card, police said. The investigation was incomplete and more arrests were possible, officials said.
According to police reports, Galindo was captured on surveillance video buying gas with the card over a seven-day period last month.
Galindo was charged with three counts of credit card abuse, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years behind bars.
She was also charged with failing to identify herself.
Upon conviction, prosecutors could seek a stiffer sentence by arguing that Galindo used the card more than 100 other times, authorities said.
She was being held in the Brazos County Jail on $23,000 bail Wednesday night.

Thank you to the young Bryan resident below that moved away as well. I am also offended by the way people attack and jusge others on this site. I was also a Bryan High graduate, and I cannot believe that people that were so close in proximity could be so racist and hateful. It absolutely disgusts me. Some of these people have no feelings for anyone but themselves. Stay true to yourself. We were raised well in Bryan, but have moved far away from the hate.

As a former Bryan, TX resident I am greatly saddened by the racist and closed minded comments that show up on this website. I can not believe that this is the community where I received my grade school education and encouraged me to go on to college. This place is where I worshiped every Sunday faithfully. I found comfort every time I crossed the county line and read the sign, “Brazos County.” This area really fooled me. The post that I read here on a daily basis tells me that this place is full of closed minded people that want Bryan College Station to remain as it was in the 50’s and 60’s when everything was segregated by black staying in their neighborhoods and whites enjoying the rest. I graduated from Bryan High School class of 2002 and went on to the University of Houston- Downtown. I am a product of a school system that made me feel that someone cared about me and everyone wanted me to succeed. I was at one time very proud of where I’ve come from and find myself struggling to do that anymore. In all actuality the people posting on The Eagle website are probably parents of students that I may have played sports with, teachers that may have taught me the alphabet, and even worse, maybe a student I shared a class with in high school. These people smiled in my face and secretly hated me behind doors. It truly disgusts me to read these posts . I always said when I would get old I would want to retire here in Bryan- College Station and be buried here. I will never return here and haunt anyone that would lay me to rest in this county. The people posting these negative comments should be ashamed of themselves! All I can do is PRAY!

Kevin, don't kid yourself. Why would Bryan residents want additional trash in our city limits. Your clan is enough to try to deal with.

I was driving in CS today near the mall. A CSPD Motorcycle officer Pulled over a person on a Bicycle and was writing him a ticket. You people in CS have a problem. If You do not get together on who is a real criminal you run the risk of being annexed by Bryan.

Comment Title: Purpose of Law Enforcement
What I see here is Bryan PD investigators doing their job, and successfully I might add. Any city can arm goons and have them write speeding and jaywalking tickets and occasionally arrest an already subdued criminal who just attacked a granny. What I think we need is for Bryan to send some of its investigators here to help us solve some of the many auto vandalism cases still open. Our law enforcement priorities seem to be out of sync with what is needed by the College Station citizens.
