Police: Man broke into car, noshed

A 48-year-old Bryan man was in jail on Christmas Eve, accused of breaking into a car and munching on snacks he found in the front seat.

Authorities said workers at UPS in Bryan noticed the man sitting in the front seat of an employee's car eating french-fried onions around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said Gerard Desire LeBlanc II took off when employees approached him. The employees chased LeBlanc and held him until officers arrived, according to the police report.

Police said they found a marijuana pipe in LeBlanc's pocket.

He was charged with burglary of a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was being held without bail in the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday on failure-to-appear warrants out of Hardin County on charges of driving while intoxicated.

Comment Title: Can any of you read?
For all of you goody two-shoes CS residents- apparently none of you morons can read. Nowhere in the article did it state that he is or was a gang member. College Station has just as much crime, but it gets swept under the carpet because it's usually college kids with rich daddies who are the offenders. At least Bryan residents aren't committing suicide left and right. I hope none of you are ever in a situation where you are hungry and have no means to get food.

Don't believe him, Trapped By Rats is making statistics up. Bryan is not listed anywhere on the most recent city-data Top 101 lists for Assaults (http://www.city-data.com/top2/c436.html) or burglaries (http://www.city-data.com/top2/c440.html). He's just another College Station shoe salesman with short man syndrome.

Comment Title: Well how about that safety fans
CSPD arrested one Jarrett Woodward, an upstanding College Station resident, for burglary of a habitation and theft. This gangbanger, not from Bryan, apparently went on a spree Christmas Eve and Christmas day applying his trade. He must be a well known resident as his bail is $90K.
