Police: Suspect said he worked for FBI

A 40-year-old Caldwell man accused of causing two vehicle accidents refused to cooperate with police and told officers he was working for the FBI, authorities said.

The man was charged with driving while intoxicated and causing an accident, a misdemeanor, as well as failing to leave his information at an accident scene and driving with an invalid license.

Bryan police said the man was driving in the 900 block of West Villa Maria Road around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday when he went straight in a right-turn lane and ran into another car. The man hit the vehicle again as he was trying to turn around, police said.

Less than 10 minutes later, the man hit another vehicle near Texas Avenue and East 29th Street, according to police reports.

When officers stopped the man, he refused to cooperate, first telling them that he was an FBI agent, then a witness for the agency.

He was being held without bail in the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday.

Do they tell you this when you are picking up your drug supplies? Surely you don't associate with these people because that would be hypocritical.

You hang out with the wrong crowd from Bryan, that is the ones expressing pride in criminal behavior. You need to be more selective in choosing your friends or you may end up in Brazos County Jail again.

How can Bryan people be idiots everyday. Bryan government is a joke. The city is one Big Slum and ghetto in most areas. You have a police chief that lived in CS. Moved to Bryan to cover up the activity. You kill each other all the time in Bryan. Narc-gangs from Mexico control most areas of the city. You Bryan criminals are the trash of Texas and Bryan residents tell us all the time how much pride they have for this life style.

I agree on sending this Caldwell person back to his county. Our county is already out sourcing inmates because it the jail is full of Bryan residents. We are sending inmates several counties away due to lack of space. With the current level of government cover ups, corruptions, discord among officers and city officials we need the jail space. Even though some Bryan residents are too ignorant to understand the situation some of us do. One of the most common Bryan citizens discussed on the forum is the 4th generation CS Aggie basher from Bryan who continues to further degrade the citizens of Bryan by supporting criminal activity and corruption. No doubt there is as others have stated they are a long line of welfare recipients. They have led the city into the condition it is today with others of their type.

Typical college station thinking on priorities. i.e. donuts, speeding tickets, jaywalking tickets, and lastly, criminal investigation and apprehension.

Maybe he was here on FBI buisness investigating the police chief. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and not be so quick to judge this man.
