Police say man stole from ex-girlfriend

A 25-year-old Bryan man was in the Brazos County Jail Tuesday after burglarizing his ex-girlfriend's home, authorities said.

The woman told police she was missing a laptop computer and $450 cash after her home was burglarized the evening of July 11, according to the police report.

Police interviewed neighbors and discovered Aaron Michael Sevcik had spoken to some while at the home that night. Other witnesses were able to identify the vehicle Sevcik used.

He was charged Monday night with burglary of a habitation and was being held Tuesday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
