Pre-registration for Buddy Walk open

Residents are invited to participate in the seventh annual Buddy Walk, organized by the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley.

Buddy Walk, which celebrates individuals with Down syndrome, is set for Oct. 10 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater in College Station. In addition to a one-mile walk, activities will include live entertainment, children's activities, food, a raffle and a silent auction.

Pre-registration ends Sept. 24, although registration can be done the day of the event.

Registration is $10 or $35 for a family of four, $40 for a family of five, and $45 for a family of six.
