A Bryan feed store employee faces theft charges after stealing more than $1,700 worth of items from the store, authorities said.
Bryan police said Kevin James Raabe, 20, of Bryan and another store employee stole feed, pig starter, calf pellets and dog food from Producers Cooperative on June 20 and July 3.
Employees noticed the missing inventory and reviewed surveillance videos, which showed the men loading items that hadn't been paid for into a customer's vehicle, officials said.
Raabe was arrested Thursday and released from the Brazos County Jail on $5,000 bail.
The other employee has not been located, police said.
Theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000 is a state jail felony punishable by a maximum of two years behind bars.

This is a win/win situation for Bryan. One criminal apprehended, one on the run, and two more folks will gain employment. Bryan's unemployment rate will be reduced yet again.

Comment Title: Wizard of Oz
I remember when the old Skaggs and Safeway stores were open in good old College Station in the early through mid 80's. A friend of mine was a DPS trooper back then. He often worked off duty at Skaggs in "LOSS PREVENTION". That means he caught shoplifters, which is a polite way of saying "COMMON THIEVES". He spoke of the numerous college sorority girls he had caught stealing cosmetics, some of which had $200.00+ of the items stashed, only to find that they had more than enough cash on their person to have paid for the items. He stated that many of the girls told him that they had done this on a dare from their sorority sisters. Kinda wonder if they would have jumped off a bridge or some other high structure on a stupid sorority dare. He also stated that most of them were little rich b@#*h snobs that felt the world revolved around them! He spoke of the male college students he had caught shoplifting condoms, because they were too embarrassed to purchase them or go to the quack shack and ask for them, no charge involved. That was then, this is now. No one will convince me that this activity in good old College Station has ceased or at least slowed down as of today. Some of the "CLOWNS & SIDE WALK SISSIES" on here bashing everyone in Bryan needs to wake up and put down their mind altering substances and smell the "BS" they're shoveling! Get off the "Yellow Brick Road" and step back into reality for once in your life! Yeah, your @#$* stinks to, you JERKS!

What city would you be pointing your finger at, with no basis of fact, I might add. Do you feel safer and are you safer in your ville, wherever it may be?

When arrested they will have come from the city with the highest crime rates in The part of TX. Maybe a 4th generations family that never had money to move an used drugs and welfare to support the criminal life style.

The topic of concern is Jamie safety, not crime itself. He just needs to take preventative measures to protect himself and his property. As noted some College Station residents are on a rampage stealing and destroying other residents property.

Talking about crime in a safer city does not make us safe in the 77 worst rated city in assaults in the USA BRYAN TEXAS.

I would say Jamie@CS is in more danger from the CS locals than Bryan thugs. KRHD reports 15 auto windshields shot out with BB guns and another nine auto break ins in the last three days.

"Employees noticed the missing inventory and reviewed surveillance videos..." This is a lot strange....Why would an employee assume inventory was not sold, the Co-Op is in the business of selling its inventory.....I would check all my videos and employees, chances are these 2 are not the only ones and my experience with in-store shrinkage is the employee that volunteers info was sidetracked from their own scam.....
